Amy Durnford

Solicitor

I started my journey to becoming a solicitor in 2018 when I began working as a private client legal advisor, providing advice to clients regarding their Wills, trusts, and Lasting Power of Attorney documents. I began my training contract in 2021 within the private client department, dealing with all areas of private client law including contentious and non-contentious cases.

I love working in private client because it is an area that can be daunting to consider for obvious reasons, yet it is something that each and every one of us must face at some point during our lives. I get great satisfaction from receiving feedback from my clients to say that they now have peace of mind after planning for the future, or that writing their Will was no longer at the bottom of their to-do list!

I joined Hedges because of their wealth of experience and fantastic reputation, and I wish to be a part of making a difference to our client’s lives, however big or small.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, improving my cooking skills and am a keen pilates enthusiast.

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

"Hedges Law gave me sound, practical - and most of all - welcome advice. They took the time to get to know me, listened and provided clear jargon free advice and all at a pace I was comfortable with. Look no further."
