Help From Hedges

Help From Hedges is a new service developed in response to increasing demand from our clients to provide a support structure when distance and time is an obstacle. Many older people live more than hour away from their closest relative, and for some, it may be much more. 

Our team has safeguarded the affairs of our clients and provided peace of mind to successive generations of families for years. For families and friends who want to spend precious quality time with each other, rather than dealing with paperwork and admin, Help From Hedges gives that time back.

Flexible service to save you time

It’s designed to be flexible and provide the services you need. Whatever they are, our experienced team will make it happen. This could include support with: 

• Opening mail and keeping your papers in order
• Setting up and maintaining any online and internet accounts
• Paying bills and online purchases
• Liaising with finance professionals
• Managing your properties or helping you move house
• Finding and keeping track of any financial assets that may have been forgotten or lost
• Handling change of address details when moving home
• Keeping your memberships up to date, such as golf clubs and galleries

1. We talk to you.

The first thing we will need to do is to have a conversation to understand if Help From Hedges is the right service for you or your loved one.

Every situation is different, so it’s best for us to understand your particular circumstances before we come to visit you at home. After this initial telephone call, if we believe we can help, the next step is to arrange our first visit.

2. We visit you at home.

During this first visit, we will get things in order and create an electronic record of all your important information. This would include details such as a list of your assets and liabilities, income and expenditure, and a list of significant people, along with their contact details.

This initial visit is charged as a fixed fee.

3. We agree what ongoing support you would like.

Following our first visit, we will then agree what ongoing support you would like from us. Any ongoing support is then charged as either a fixed monthly fee, or on an hourly-rate based on your preference.

And that’s it. As things change, so does our support. It’s a fully flexible service that provides the support your want, when you want it, whilst helping you to maintain your independence.
