We are pleased to announce the launch of a new year long programme showcasing some of Oxfordshire’s most talented artists.
Starting in November 2023, we will be running a series of events at our new office on Banbury Road, Summertown, Oxford. We have been delivering legal services across Oxfordshire since 1789 and being part of the fabric of the community, we’ve always supported local people and events. This latest programme celebrates the recent opening of our new premises.
As well as showcasing local artists, we’re also using the events to raise awareness and support for local charity, the Oxford Hospitals Charity who make such a huge difference to patients and staff in hospitals across the county: a percentage of the sale proceeds of every piece of art will go to this wonderful charity.
Oxford Hospitals Charity helps to transform care in our local hospitals, by funding the best medical equipment, training, research and facilities. Their own dedicated Arts Programme connects patients and staff with the calming impact of art and music, from artistic murals on the wards through to private concerts for patients and creative mindfulness activities for staff.

Ruth Swain
Ruth Swain is an award-winning portrait, figurative, and still-life artist based in Oxfordshire. She works in oil, watercolour, and pastel. Her large-scale images not only tell a story, but they show the emotional bond between the subject and sitter. She has won numerous awards and accolades for her work. Ruth is currently exploring the idea of Still-Life as a form of portraiture. She is focussing on women’s lives today. She wants to make their often-invisible work more visible by elevating the ordinary and mundane and find beauty in the minutiae of everyday life.
Saturday 9th December – 9am – 5pm

We’d love to see you at one of our upcoming open exhibitions, where you can come into our office to view or buy the beautiful art up on display. We’ll be adding more pop-ups to the list for the New Year so look out for those soon too.
