Oxfordshire leads the way with eco-friendly turkey shed

With environmental protection concerns taking ever greater prominence and an increasing public demand to reduce plastic waste how nice to see that Oxfordshire is at the forefront of change once again.

Not only are we home to the first “plastic free” Waitrose on the Botley Road but Fairytale Farm in Chipping Norton has used pioneering new building techniques to construct animal sheds entirely from plastic waste. What a great initiative and how lovely to see the farming community take a lead in this area.

A POPULAR children's attraction has unveiled an environmentally-friendly home for some of its animal residents.

Fairytale Farm, near Chipping Norton, now boasts a turkey shed and visitor benches made entirely from almost 1,000 'eco-bricks', thanks to schoolchildren and members of the community.
