I started my journey in law at the tender age of 16 after leaving school. I was the Office Junior. I quickly enjoyed learning about property and after a year found myself working with the residential team as a PA (we were called secretaries in my day!). My journey continued within residential and commercial property and eventually I found myself looking after 20 partners of a law firm in Cheltenham in a business development role. After a fabulous 14 years working in law I found a new calling which took me on the journey to set up my own company specialising in World Superbike and MotoGP racing. It was a fabulous 12 years working with race teams all over Europe. The exit strategy was always 10 years and I am pleased to say I successfully sold it.

In my latter years I quite by accident found myself house and pet sitting (a total of 18 dogs and 3 cats all over the country). I have done this for the last two and a half years. With my passion for fitness (I forget to mention I qualified as an aerobics instructor and gym instructor along the way) the long walks and the love given by the animals has been incredible.

I don’t think I ever lost my love for law and I guess that is how I have found myself full circle. I am really excited to be part of the Client Services Team and to be joining Hedges Law.
