Katy Duff joined the Family team at Hedges Law on 17th November 2025, bringing extensive experience in financial remedy and children law matters. She previously spent three years as a Solicitor at one of London’s top-ranked family law firms and four years prior training and working in London family law.
Katy advises on all financial claims arising on divorce and separation, with particular expertise in the separation of high-net-worth unmarried parents. She also has significant experience in complex children cases, including international relocation matters. Her practice often focuses on resolving disputes through supported mediation and other forms of non-court dispute resolution, including arbitration. Katy brings a thoughtful, trauma-informed approach to her work, providing clients with high levels of care and guidance throughout their cases.
Katy is a member of Resolution, an organisation dedicated to the constructive resolution of family disputes. She has been Co-Chair of Resolution’s National Domestic Abuse Committee for the past two years and remains an active member. She has contributed articles and commentary for Resolution’s The Review and other national publications on domestic abuse in family law practice, and contributed to Resolution’s report on Domestic Abuse in Financial Remedy Proceedings (October 2024). Katy has also trained as a legal professional with SafeLives, and has extensive experience handling cases involving domestic abuse, coercive control, and complex financial and children matters with an element of abuse.
