Reported as the most expensive divorce in history, Dmitry Rybolovlev and his ex-wife Elena have reached a settlement on the division of their finances. They are reported to have been together for 23 years, and have three children. The courts in Switzerland were dealing with the case. At one point Elena was awarded £2.9 billion which was reported as being over half of her ex-husband’s wealth. A Swiss appeal court reduced this to £390 million.
The case was due to be heard in the Swiss Supreme Court, but the parties settled somewhere in the middle for an undisclosed amount.
