2016 was a turbulent year in the world of politics both here, in Europe and on the other side of the pond. Dave Troy’s insights from TEDx Oxford 2017 on the way the successful campaigns used information from social media profiles is both fascinating and a little scary at the same time!
It is also very topical because the General Data Protection Regulations will come into force early next year. They will change the rules that apply when businesses process personal data. I will be posting more information on this blog over the next few months but all businesses should start to take steps to comply with the new regulations soon to make sure they are ready for the GDPR.
