Dementia affects us all

Typically dementia is associated with the elderly, however this sad article follows the story of a lady who was diagnosed and admitted into care at just 35. 

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) tend to be seen as something the older generation should prepare. However, any of us could lose the ability to make decisions, at any point in time whether due to a sudden diagnosis of a medical condition, or due to suffering an accident. 

This article emphasizes the ever increasing importance of preparing LPAs, no matter how old you are.
